More Portal? Yes please!

So yesterday, I logged into my Steam account after my SO had used my computer to access his account.  Check messages, see if there are any sales, blah blah.  And then I see this:

After going into a FULL PANIC that I had somehow missed Portal 3 (you haven't) I realized that I instead somehow missed a DLC/mini-game.  Yes I call it that because it isn't technically an extension and it doesn't seem to be a whole new game - it's more of a  . . . hopefully in-between game?  *crosses fingers*  Anywho, the amazing people at Valve decided to grace us with some new levels that only use the orange and blue paint first seen in Portal 2.  It actually looks like you aren't using a Portal Gun at all, but an actual gun designed specifically for the paints -  you can actually see the paint slosh around when you turn :-)

Of course I played for a bit and so far the puzzles are challenging.  The music is pretty awesome, too - a whole new soundtrack apparently.  I've got to say though that I am still being cautious about the AI in this game.  They have yet to insult me, or try to kill me, or offer me cake . . .  I'm getting a bit paranoid, lol.  I'm honestly hoping that somehow this will tie into an entirely new Portal game *crosses fingers*.

Ok that's all.  Now back to Aperture Tag to see if there is any indication of a new Portal game :-)
